Planning Legal Wedding in Santorini requires a list of legal documents that vary from country to country. Every case is different and the authorities can demand extra papers from you!

You have to start collecting the listed papers not before than 3 months prior to the ceremony.

All these documents should be translated into the Greek Language by the official translators certified by the Greek Embassy.

All the documents need to have an Apostille Stamp on them! Please note that the original documents will be kept at the Town Hall.  When they are ready, you can scan and send them to us in order to check if there is any mistake. The original documents must be given to us at least 3 working days before your wedding day in order to give them to the registry office. Usually we are arranging that part at our pre- wedding meeting.

The day after your ceremony you need to visit the registry office with your coordinator in order to registry your wedding in Town Hall.

In case you’re leaving the island, we could be assigned to do it for you but we need to visit a notary office, which has an extra cost. Your Marriage Certificate will be obtained by us from the Town Hall and will be sent to you by the courier. The original Marriage License is in Greek, but it can be translated by us into English and other languages upon request!
